Ah Nami Island..... I've heard and seen so much of it on social media. About how breathtaking it is, about it's beauty and it's scenery....
I was still taken aback by it's beauty and amazing-ness.....

Indeed, it is the number 1 place to visit, especially if you're an Instagram addict like me. The entire island is just one big Instagram-mable playground!
Some background information on Nami Island, it was formed due to the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam. The full name is actually Namiseom Island. Being 63km away from Seoul, and 30mins away from Chuncheon, most people will say it is in Chuncheon rather than Seoul.
It is especially famous for it's roads that seems to be lined endlessly with trees. The most unique key point of Nami Island is the lack of telephone poles! To retain the beauty of nature on the island, they have built and installed electric wires underground.

It was also, coincidentally, the filming site of the famous Korean drama, Winter Sonata.

This adds on to the popularity of Nami Island as many k-drama fans will visit as some sort pilgrimage.
I booked my visit to Nami Island on Klook, along with a visit to Petite France, Garden of Morning calm along with transport to and fro.
For one pax it was 93.50SGD and I made sure to use promo codes to bring the price down as well.
Of course, it'd be cheaper if you went by yourself and you have the freedom of how much time you had at one location. However , for the price and what was included, I felt that it was worth it as I did not have to worry about traveling to the 3 destinations or the purchasing of admission tickets.
Here's some pictures of me on Nami Island, I took so many that I had trouble just selecting a few!
I definitely want to go back again in different seasons. I heard that it is absolutely stunning in spring, with the vitality of all the plants alive. With each changing season, Nami Island gives off a different look. I for sure, want to visit it in other seasons.
How about you? Would you want to visit Nami Island?
Till next time~ #seoulxinz
