Hello world!

I figure I would come up here and write a post as I try and settle my layout etc. I've been blogging since I was 11 years old. It all started when my friend introduced me to this "online diary" which I can share my thoughts and stories with people all over the world!

Honestly it's been hard trying to figure out how to use WIX but I believe if I could manage to do the HTML coding of my blogskin then, I sure could handle using this supposedly easy to use website builder.

Anyway you might be curious, why create a blog for travels? Also, what makes me different from all the other travel blogs that are already out there?

For starters, ever since I took on my 2 gap years, I started to develop this immense of wanderlust. Everyday I would look at travel guides, check the plane ticket rates and scroll through the huge beautiful field of Instagram travel pics. I kept telling my friends, if I could, I would just pack my bags, run to the airport and order a ticket for ANYWHERE.

However there's always one thing that holds me back, MONEY.

Sadly in this world, everything comes with a price. We pay for air tickets, hotel accommodation, food, experiences and souvenirs.

This is why I've come up with this blog, where I try to show you how I still manage to go on my adventures with a small budget :-) My small budget still take me probably a few months of part-time work and savings here and there, but I try and maximise it as much as possible!

As for how I'm different from all the other travel blogs.. You'll have to follow me to find out! To begin with, I promise to always be truthful to you, my audience. This is as I've ever had the same feelings towards travel blogs: CHEATED.

Sometimes, when I go to a recommended place, I end up leaving disappointed. Enough of those overly filtered and edited pictures, what we want, is the truth and good recommendations!

So here we go, on to our next adventure!
